Another Iron Man 2 rumor has been circulating recently, indicating that Scarlett Johansson may be in line to play the character of “Black Widow”. The Black Widow is a Russian superspy and would probably pose a major role in the sequel.

Previously announced Black Widow Emily Blunt had a scheduling conflict with which led Marvel to look at other actors for the role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, “Marvel will not confirm, but sources around Hollywood say Johansson has indeed met with the filmmakers.”

Other possible actresses rumored for the role include the super hot Eliza Dushku, who is currently appearing in Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse TV series.

In a recent interview, Scarlett Johansson talked about the art of picking girls up and her experiences getting picked up. The interview was to promote her upcoming film, “Just Not That Into You”, which is about picking up women!

From the Interview:

Q: He’s Just Not That Into You is about picking up women. What’s your advice on good spots to do that? Scarlett Johansson: I don’t know, I’ve never looked for a lady before. Maybe you should ask the guys in the movie that question! Q: What about being dumped? HJNTIY seems to advise that dumping somebody digitally is not as cool as in person. SJ: What about in case of an emergency? Q: OK…You play a woman in this film who mulls having an affair with a married man. How do you feel personally about that? SJ: I think, even though there was somebody that was being hurt in the process, I don’t think that my character was, you know… I mean, I think that the two characters really like each other. They connect. So you can’t really hate them. Because it’s not like they’re being vindictive. She’s not looking to steal a married man. And he’s not looking to have some affair. You know, they’re both going into it knowing that there’s somebody else, a third person in the relationship. And they really feel like maybe this is a point in their life when, like, these things happen. And you don’t want to miss the boat. Who knows? This could be the person that you have children with and get married to, and have to spend the rest of your life with. So I think that these two characters feel that way about each other, and they make such a connection… So it’s life, I guess. These things happen. Don’t they?
