This year would have seen the start of the filming of a star-studded Hollywood blockbuster about Mary Queen of Scots. Scarlett Johansson would have played the role of the Scottish queen.

The film which stars Scarlett with the lead role was supposed to start in Scotland and Ireland later this year. However, due to the current economic climate, the film won’t go on this year as Capitol Films went broke.

The film was expected to boost Scotland’s tourism as Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle, and other key locations were planned to be shot. The shoot is planned to be done in future times instead. The filming is supported by First Minister Alex Salmond.

Scarlett Johansson and husband Ryan Reynolds shared that they don’t talk about work whenever they are at home. It is their only time to relax from everything, and they don’t want to add anything to that. They can enjoy the presence of each other the most too when home.

Ryan Reynolds states, “We don’t have a lot of work talk around the house. We both prefer to just be ourselves at home. There’s no competition between us – we just don’t talk about it.”

Pete Yorn, a known name in the music industry, now has a chance of doing a duet 3 years after he wished for one. And, who else to do it with, but with the musical but fresh Scarlett.

The upcoming album is titled Break Up. It is packed with indie pop songs recorded right from the studio garage of the producer Sunny Levine.

News about Scarlett Johansson not appearing on ITV2 got out recently. The reality TV show that would follow four famous Hollywood starlets, of which Scarlett would have been included, won’t be doing any show with her anymore. Paris Hilton, Peaches Geldof and Alexa Dixon, the other 3, would be on the show, though.

Her representative Marcel Pariseau shared, “We have never been approached about the Fearne Cotton show and Scarlett would never participate in this sort of show. Scarlett is a very private person. It’s a complete fabrication.” Good-bye to Fearne Cotton’s show, then.

The directorial debut of Scarlett Johansson is “The Vagabond Shows”, starring Kevin Bacon, will premiere as part of the opening night of LA Shorts Fest ‘09. The event runs from July 23 to 31 at the Sunset 5 Laemmle Theatre in West Hollywood.

Johansson will appear and take part in a Q&A portion.

Scarlett Johansson is sharing two weeks of her life with Fearne Cotton for a new ITV2 series for a fly-on-the-wall show.

The lady will experience being Scarlett for two whole weeks along with other experiences. She’s one lucky girl!
