Tissue Donation / Scarlett on 'The Tonight Show'

Recently, our star caught a cold. Now, she’s selling a tissue paper on which she blew her nose on eBay.

This had been announced by Scarlett herself while on The Tonight Show on Wednesday. At present, there are more than 64 bids already for the tissue paper. The bid ends on Monday.

Last June 1 marked the start of a weeklong event called the Second Annual Barefoot Week, an event organized by soles4Soles, a non-profit organization spearheaded by Scarlett Johansson. It is an international charity that distributes shoes to people in need. Recently, they have distributed thousands of new shoes to people in the United States, together with collecting slightly used shoes from the public.

Scarlett herself donated about 2000 pairs of new shoes, from her own ‘Scarlett Heart Rbk’ line of Reebok shoes. She did this while barefoot. This isn’t a bother but a joy as she is able to help souls. She is also generously allowing the use of her name to inculcate awareness of the Barefoot Week. Of course, this will have a great effect to Scarlett’s admirers, fans, and even ordinary people. Aside from her, other stars joined her in supporting the activities of the weeklong event. This includes Antawn Jamison, Jessica Simpson, Brittany Snow, Kellie Pickler, Luke Perry, Riddick Bowe, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Amy Grant, Vince gill, Chris Hope, Jeff Fisher and Tim Dunn.

The beneficiaries of the charity are really fortunate to be receiving shoes coming from Scarlett herself. She even said that, “if you can’t dig deep in your pockets, (then) dig in your closet!”. It must be a real joy to wear the shoes that Scarlett herself might have worn and used dearly.

Soles4Souls donates a pair of shoes in over 125 countries, 55 percent of which is donated to fellow Americans.

Scarlett Johansson has been chosen to be the new face of a fashion retailer called Mango. Johansson is set to follow the steps of Penelope Cruz, who has been the past endorser of Mango for several seasons. Aside from Mango, Scarlett also endorses Dolce & Gabbana, Moet & Chandon, L’Oreal and Louis Vuitton.

Well not really..  Scarlett is releasing an album of Duets with indie singer Peter Yorn.  The album, entitled “Breakup” will consist of duets, presumably with songs about breakups.  Scarlett previously released an album – a collection of songs by the legendary Tom Waits.  Peter Yorn might not be as famous as Waits, but he has proved he can spin a tune.

Taking a break from filming Iron Man 2, Scarlett has talked to People magazine about why she supports charities helping the people of Rwanda. Johansson visited the country last year to increase AIDS awareness in African nations and was amazed how resilient and vibrant the Rwandan culture had become. The latest charity she is involved with is Candles for Rwanda.

Megan Fox has taken a sideways swipe at Scarlett Johansson! Fox resents the assumption that sexy stars are unintelligent, but insists that unlike Johansson she wouldn’t go on talk shows to prove how smart she really is, reported by contactmusic.com.

“I don’t want to have to be like a Scarlett Johansson who I have nothing against. But I don’t want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every single word I’ve ever learned, to prove, like, ‘Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.’ I don’t want to have to do that. I resent having to prove that I’m not a retard,” said Fox

If you continue to make comments like that, then yes we will think you are a retard.

Scarlett Johansson has killed rumors that she has taken a crash diet to get into shape for her upcoming role in Iron Man 2. Johansson plays the role of Black Widow in the upcoming flick.

Scarlett says she has been working out at least 30 minutes a day and eating a balanced diet of fruit, vegetables and lean proteins.

The formerly curvy star writes on The Huffington Post that, “the idea that the media would maintain that I have lost an impossible amount of weight by some sort of ‘crash diet’ or miracle workout is ludicrous.”

Scarlett also denies that she’s lost 14 pounds. “If I were to lose 14 pounds, I’d have to part with both arms. And a foot,”. I just hope she hasn’t lost too much, we LOVE her curves!!
